What future holds... God told.

Have you ever wondered where life is going to take you?
Have you ever felt frustrated on how things are going, and really wish it was something better. It is a similar yearning you have when you see the serene scenery hanged up on the wall, or the deep forests with a lone wood house, lined by a river, which makes your heart say, "Wish I was there".

But when I think about the things happened so far and things I am yet to take control of, I question myself on the purpose of this life...

I think I brought out the comparison in a earlier post that God doesnt care if you are a Stanford MBA, or a 4th standard fail. So why should we.
The materialistic things have constantly gained importance in our life. We fret a day without TV, computer, cell phone etc, but hardly remember our spiritual duties.

I am no exception. I dont mind failures to connect to God, for the sake of a TV show, or picnic with my friends. Sometimes standing in front of the Pooja, itself is a big ordeal. But the fact is that, realising the God in us is the utmost goal of our worldly life.

Materialistic world is a illusion. This whole life is an illusion. The joy we feel and the sorrow we express are all illusions, based on Karma. Some of the simplest examples are, think how you would have felt, when you flunked a test. You would have fretted it out, thought it to be the end of world, and felt you were the unluckiest person on earth. Think about it today, do you feel the same way about it. I hope not.

What is more important than what we got is what use we made of it. What use is a billion dollar house, if you cant feed a beggar who needs help. And what use is praying to God, and dropping loads of money into the Hundi, if you cant feed a hungry naked child.

And what is the use of praying in the first place. I remember myself praying that I want a bike, a cell phone etc. But yeah, now I think it is kiddish. For, doesn't the eternal father know what to give you... when? Also my prayers were materialistic. I like to stress on this materialistic factors because when we reach the eternal abode, what you own is not what you are evaluated on.
"What you own is not yours, but what you give is yours."

Everything is strongly linked with fate. And faith, can never alter the fate, it will give us the strength to face it. For in every test we are put into, we are promoted to the next level of sainthood, sharpened for next bigger test. God is a shoulder to rest, to lean on, to cry, to fight, to argue and thank. Let's make every minute count in remebering Him.

Happy SriRama Navami.

the end.
P.S. I know this is a collage of random thoughts, and has no connection with the title, whatsoever.
